Roaming
around
Like I used to years ago,
Playing with small toys
Not
wanting to be alone
Then coming to me,
as if knowing that was the
time

She come,
Curled up on my chest
I feel her heartbeat
matching mine
Breathing steadily
Her sides rising and falling
In
perfect time.
